Messages came from the People's Republic of China, Cuba, Belarus, the DPRK, France, the USA, India, Laos, Russia and many other countries as the CPV marks its 95th anniversary.

On the 95th anniversary of the formation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), the party is receiving messages of congratulations and solidarity from around the world.

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee sent a congratulatory message saying "In the past 95 years, the CPV has united and led the Vietnamese people in successfully realizing national unification and liberation with remarkable achievements in the cause of the country's socialist construction and transformation."

It went on to note that currently, "under the CPV's strong leadership led by General Secretary To Lam, the CPV and the Vietnamese people are striving to complete the goals and missions set by the 13th CPV Central Committee meeting, and are marching towards the two centennial goals to welcome the holding of the 14th CPV Central Committee meeting. We believe you will surely realize the goals."

General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) Doraisamy Raja in an interview granted to the Vietnam News Agency on Monday said that "Việt Nam’s victories in the resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism reflected the CPV’s strategic vision, mass mobilisation capabilities, and unwavering commitment to national liberation and socialism. He stressed that the Party’s revolutionary leadership has endured because of its ideological clarity, adaptability, and deep connection with the people – factors that have not only ensured past triumphs but continue to guide Việt Nam’s progress and sovereignty today."

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in his message to To Lam noted that "the Communist Party of Vietnam continues the cause of building socialism, enhancing the role and authority of the country in the region and the world."

"With the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people were able to have their own reliable political staff and win victory in the struggle to achieve national independence and establish a socialist system," said Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

He continued "I am pleased that the Vietnamese people are achieving remarkable successes in the struggle to build a rich and prosperous state under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam."

Voice of Vietnam reports that "congratulatory letters from First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and General Raúl Castro Ruz highlighted that the revolutionary practice of the CPV, particularly the doi moi (Renewal) policy implemented since 1986, has played a vital role in building socialism in Vietnam and served as a shining example for the international communist movement."

They also reported that Lao People’s Revolutionary Party's (LPRP) message "underlined that over the past 95 years, the CPV, founded and led by President Ho Chi Minh, with its sound, skillful and creative policies has led the Vietnamese people to many glorious victories in the struggle for national liberation and reunification Vietnam in 1975," continuing that "the Vietnamese people under the CPV’s leadership have obtained remarkable and historically significant achievements across all fields, helping the nation maintain political stability, strengthen national defence and security, ensure social order and safety, record continuous economic growth, and improve people's living standards."

"We firmly believe that by upholding its glorious revolutionary tradition and building upon these great and comprehensive achievements, the Party, State, and people of Vietnam will continue to reap new and even greater successes," it read.

Both the French Communist Party and the Communist Party USA expressed their enduring solidarity and friendship with the CPV which had, of course, led the struggle against both French and US colonialism and imperialism.

Messages were also received from the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov, Patrik Köbele, President of the Communist Party of Germany, Gyula Thurmer, President of the Hungarian Workers' Party, Raid Fahmi, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Iraq, Walter Baier, President of the European Union of Left-wing Parties, and Tahir Budagov, Vice President of the New Azerbaijan Party.
