Armenia, stained-glass art piece by Martiros Saryan and Henrik Siravyan, Armenian SSR, USSR, 1968 -- Daily LIFT #1208


Saryan (1880-1972) was awarded the Order of Lenin three times and served as a deputy in the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Siravyan (1928-2001) was named as an Honoured Artist of the Armenian SSR in 1977 and was given a special award by the Supreme Soviet of the Armenian SSR in 1978.
