Today is the Day of the Heroic Guerrilla in honour of the great revolutionary leader and strategist Che Guevara who on October 8, 1967, was captured (and later killed) in Bolivia. The day was so named by Fidel Castro honouring also the iconic Heroic Guerilla Che portrait by Korda.
