Nadia Khodasevich Léger was born in Belarus in 1984. Between 1919 and 1921 she studied art in Smolensk in the early days of the Revolution. She evemtually moved to Paris where she was involved with the Resistance during the occupation in WWII. She was a member French Communist Party and was awarded Order of the Red Banner of Labour of the USSR in 1972. She died in 1982.
