Our locomotive goes forward!, Revold Baryshnikov USSR 1972 -- Daily LIFT #393


Baryshnikov (1924-1985) was born in Kharkov and had just graduated from art school when he went to serve on the frontlines against the Nazi invasion of the USSR in 1941. After serving throughout the war he became a celebrated artist and was named an Honored Artist of Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic in 1976.
