One of Brodsky's great masterpieces, remarkable in its detail and sense of place. Isaak Brodsky, was an Honoured Artist of the Russian SFSR and one of the pioneers of Soviet socialist realism in art. Brodsky died unexpectedly in Leningrad in 1939 and his apartment was turned into an art museum.
