Senior Sergeant Vera Mitushina and Corporal Natasha Zalko of the Soviet Red Army, March 1944 -- Daily LIFT #901


They were students at the Moscow Theatrical Institute when war struck. They volunteered for the front and for their bravery in action were awarded the Military Service Medal.
