For over 10 days, Israel has been carrying out a new military offensive in Palestine, this time in the West Bank. With the name "Summer Camps", this operation, one of the largest since last October, has had the participation of hundreds of soldiers, police and armored equipment and is a clear sign that the ceasefire demanded by the majority of the international community is a long way off.
The results of the current conflict are not far from those of previous ones: the death of civilians, including children, the destruction of infrastructure and forced displacement are just some of the consequences.
This only aggravates the situation of the long-suffering Palestinian people, whose land has been taken away with bombs and shrapnel. Just two months ago, the U.N. food agency warned that Israel's military operations in Palestine forced it to close several food distribution points. Hunger has been another weapon used by the aggressor against the survivors of the indiscriminate bombings.
Before this new incursion into another Palestinian area, chaos and destruction were already visited upon the Gaza Strip. Aid agencies and groups are not only unable to bring food and provide first aid, but they are not even able to care for orphans and children who are victims of family breakdown due to displacement. According to estimates by UN agencies, at least 19,000 children survive without their parents, either with other family members, caregivers or alone.

Every minute in which shrapnel reigns in Palestine is evidence of Israel's violation of all United Nations resolutions, with the unwavering support of the United States in both the political and military spheres, sending countless shipments of weapons that end up intensifying the genocide against the Palestinian people.
