Marvelous stamp from the 20th anniversary year of the Socialist Unity Party (SED) of the German Democratic Republic in 1966. Featuring Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin it has panels that read "Proletarians of All Lands Unite" and "Fatherland, Peace, Socialism".
The seventh in our new The Left Chapter daily series looking at over 70 stamps from the German Democratic Republic, some with quotes and history.
