In July, 1968 the English language magazine Soviet Life introduced a feature called "Russian Cuisine". It aimed to share some recipes of dishes popular in the USSR. The recipes were from acclaimed Soviet restaurant chefs.
The feature continued until at least the end of the year and may well have continued after that, though I have yet to track down issues from 1969 or 1970 to find out.
These are mostly classic dishes including those listed in the title and others like the classic Russian soup shchi (though the recipe is for the "sour" variety made with sauerkraut) and a few more like Lemon Cake.
I have included all the recipes from 1968.
