An ad for the Soviet Moskvitch 412 from July 1969. The 412 was produced from 1967-1975 in a factory in Moscow. It was a family sedan that had a more powerful engine than its predecessors and it proved very popular with the public.
There were several versions of the 412 including a rally model that won several international rally contests. As was often the case with Soviet car or vehicle design models, the 412's basic design was also the basis for a van, station wagon and pickup truck.
After 1975 new models of the 412 were introduced under different names.
