The fascist plan against Venezuela

By Francisco Arias Fernández, via the Communist Party of Cuba, translated from the Spanish

If the abundant evidence of the crime, shown by the State terrorism of which Venezuela has been a victim – with assassination plans, a savage blockade to starve and provoke mass exodus, sabotage of key sectors of the economy, shameless seizure of companies, oil-rich territories and funds in foreign banks – were not enough, the intention to remove the Bolivarian Government from power, on July 28, would still be a thinly disguised project on the part of the United States, which long ago included in its aims its NATO allies in Europe and its new satellites of the ultra-right or neoliberal orbit in Latin America.

Two days before the elections, a Made in USA plan came to light, which confirms everything and recalls Trump's assault on the Capitol in the US in January 2021, or the coup attempt against Lula in Brazil a few days after taking office.

The Venezuelan version included predisposing public opinion to an alleged fraud, so as not to recognize the results and call for social destabilization and violence in order to create instability and make the country ungovernable.

All of this is led by the far-right leader María Corina Machado, propped up by Washington and its global media machine, while being financed by the Venezuelan-American terrorist mafia, from Miami and Spain.

In this context, the U.S. (author of the plan) does not recognize the victory of President Nicolás Maduro; it goes from "serious concerns" to accusations of "electoral manipulation" and "repression"; and hints at the possibility of "new sanctions" against the Bolivarian Government.

But the macabre script had as a directive that the White House would not recognize a result favorable to Chavismo, and the intelligence services would be in charge of having everything tied up to guarantee the complicity of the Organization of American States (OAS), the always faithful European Union, and the fourth-rate allies of the "backyard".

According to reports, the ringleader, hated inside and outside the opposition, planned to escape and settle in Argentina, to set up her command post there, while trying to turn her lie into a source of international political-diplomatic support, with phone calls to characters from different countries, trying to gain support for the coup.

The chosen place fell from the bush. The Southern Command has accommodated everything with Milei, its fascist ally, self-proclaimed champion of anti-communism, committed against socialism and at the feet of the global ultra-right.

Before the announcement of the election results, the South American trumpito unleashed the alleged "fraud and non-recognition" part of the script indicated by the State Department, which immediately went viral in the mainstream US press.

This situation was enriched by "the suspicions" of the State Department itself, the ignorance of Washington's candidate, as well as the criticism of other Latin American puppets of the White House.

The U.S. coup plan gave Javier Milei the leading role of the clown that fell to him from this pit of political dinosaurs of the twenty-first century, and on social networks he showed his ilk: "The Venezuelan lions woke up and sooner or later socialism is going to end...", in a frank, irresponsible and interventionist incitement to violence and chaos.

Traditional spokespeople of lies and manipulation were in charge of rarefying the atmosphere of the elections, spreading contents of prefabricated alleged polls to present Chavismo always at a disadvantage with respect to the candidate of world reaction, and thus create the conditions to infer fraud.

The New York Times, CNN, AP, Voice of America (VOA), Euronews, BBC, Germany's DW and the Spanish newspapers El País and El Mundo are in charge of supporting the coup and destabilization plan in the media, with the information monopoly that the U.S. government is trying to impose as global matrices to achieve its goal of overthrowing the legitimate government of Venezuela.

For this reason, the anti-Venezuelan key piece of the pack could not be missing: the billionaire owner of the X platform, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, the controversial Elon Musk, who was criticized internationally for spreading misinformation about the Covid-19 pandemic and conspiracy theories, and this time is involved in attacks against President Maduro and the election results and sharing content from his beloved Milei.

Maduro, on the morning of the 29th, denounced the encouragement of a new coup attempt, for which he blamed governments in the region and an ultra-right-wing and fascist opposition sector.

At the same time, Attorney General Tarek William Saab accused three opposition leaders of orchestrating a computer attack against the electoral system from North Macedonia: Lester Toledo, Leopoldo López and María Corina Machado.

It is the same fascism that tried to take over the Capitol, with Trump at the helm, and that promises to return to the White House.

It is the same fascism that exterminates the Palestinian population in Gaza and applies, as in the times of the Condor Plan, the doctrine of scorched earth, so that tomorrow the Jewish settlers will take over the territories they lacked. It is the one that steals Syria's oil with impunity, and imposes extreme poverty to create starvation.

Maduro called for peace and considered election day as a triumph of reason and coexistence; but these are not fashionable words in today's world, when weapons and millionaire funds for more death try to circumvent the will of the people defending social projects that the empire wants to thwart at all costs.

The macabre U.S. plan is underway. Lies and manipulation continue to fuel violence and death, with the consent of presidents and organizations dependent on the White House. It is time to defend the truth and the popular will of the Venezuelans who elected Maduro, despite decades of imperial aggression, terrorism and fascism.
